Info

Professor Emerita at the University of Queensland (Institute for Molecular Bioscience) and Adjunct Professor at Griffith University. Established the first protein crystallography laboratory in Queensland in 1993, which evolved into the UQ Remote Operation Crystallisation and X-ray Diffraction (UQ ROCX) Facility, of which she was the Foundation Director. From 2019 to 2022 she served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) at the University of Wollongong. Research expertise: structural biology, protein crystallography, protein interactions, and applications to drug design and discovery, particularly against drug-resistant bacteria. Leading advocate for gender equity and diversity in science.
