Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC)
Info
Executive Director of the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC) at the time of the 2015 Ligand Validation Workshop. CCDC is the UK organization that maintains the Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) - the global archive of small-molecule crystal structures and the reference source for bond-length/angle restraints used across macromolecular crystallography. CCDC develops Mercury (visualization), GOLD (docking), and CSD-based ligand-geometry libraries.
Key Relationships
- CCDC / Cambridge Structural Database — organizational hub
- Suzanna Ward — CCDC colleague; LVW attendee
- Ligand Validation Workshop 2015 co-organizer
- CCDC ligand-geometry references are used in wwPDB validation pipelines and CCP4 / PHENIX
