Team Leader for the Electron Microscopy Data Bank (EMDB) at EMBL-EBI. Brings ten years of first-hand cryo-EM experience from research and from imaging and structural biology service facilities. His vision for EMDB focuses on strengthening core archival functions, building connections to complementary databases, and preparing the archive for future cryo-EM and cryo-ET technologies (including volumeEM).

- Returned to the UK in 2018; staff scientist at the MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences (LMS), London - established and embedded cryo-EM and volumeEM imaging at the institute
- 2021: moved to the UK national electron microscopy facility at Diamond Light Source as eBIC (electron Bio-Imaging Centre) Training Coordinator, responsible for user training programmes
- Now: EMDB Team Leader, EMBL-EBI
