James B. Duke Distinguished Professor of Biochemistry at Duke University. Co-lead of the Richardson Lab with her husband David C. Richardson. Invented the protein ribbon diagram (her 1981 Nature “Anatomy and Taxonomy of Protein Structure” is a landmark pedagogical work). Co-developer of MolProbity: the all-atom contact analysis and updated Ramachandran/rotamer reference libraries now embedded across wwPDB validation pipelines, PHENIX, and CCP4.
