OneDep is the unified deposition, validation, and biocuration system for the wwPDB. All depositions to PDB, EMDB, and BMRB go through OneDep. Hosted at wwPDB data centers worldwide (US, Europe, Asia). Developed collaboratively by RCSB PDB, PDBe, PDBj, and the EMDB team.

Key Relationships

• Central infrastructure for all wwPDB depositions
• Biocuration split geographically: RCSB (Americas/Oceania), PDBe/EMDB (Europe/Africa), PDBj/PDBc (Asia)
• Validation tools include MolProbity criteria, EM validation metrics
• Integration with SASBDB OneDep line underway
• Uses PDBx/mmCIF format (History of mmcif working group)
